This week we were illuminated by the various tools in the carpentery workshop such as the drilling machine , thermocol cutting machine . I was also introduced to materials like MDF ( medium density fibre ) which are sustainable to use .
We were also given an assessment to make tea coasters out of the given mdf sheets .
Secondly , we were told to look for the raw material and man made material such as thermocol , clay , wool etc and forage for their properties and its uses and combine them on a mountboard sheet .
At last i would like to summarize that i learnt about the various industrial tools and machineries used to make different kind of products and also gained knowledge about the various natural and man made material. I personally liked the class and I am eagerly waiting to attain more knowledge .
