In this class we were shown different layouts and manuscripts of the magazine , we were told to notice the details of the the layouts / manuscripts starting from the different kinds of fonts which had to be applied to certain layouts such as the font style for PRESENTATION IS :

We were also shown the different kinds of paragraph and character style , we were also taught to make the different kinds of grids which are generally used in making textbooks and novels and we learnt how to highlight and underline a word in a paragraph , we were also introduced to a word BASELINE which is a streamline which helps giving space between the two words in a paragraph which helps to align text in a layout .
In the other half of the class we discussed the different kinds of layouts which we had made and we were to make more layouts so that we could explore more and create interesting layouts which could further be used in other assignments .
