Our class started with a very exciting note as we were shown a TEDX video of CHRISTROPH NIEMANN talking about design and its abstract scale . He tries to put the design scale in the middle of it ,nor the left and right .He chooses the middle of it because it is more understandandable by the normal crowd of people and looks very appealing to the eyes .
Then, after the video our class had immensely participated in the discussing the main points about the tedtalk . After the ted talk we were told to draw certain number of boxes for our abstract art based on 2D for where we could only use LINES and DOTS and could not depict shapes and forms through the abstract art . In the class we were given topics based on emotions like anger .
we were also given assignment based on certain topics such as depicting our emotions at my happy place ,description for my best friend ,highlights from home to school , feelings when i look outside the window.
In the end I would like to conclude that I learnt about abstract art and how design works just by the help of lines and dots without forming any shapes and forms . I am looking forward to learn more of this and enhance my creativity by every passing class .
