IN this class we continued talking about the GESTALT PRINCIPLE , we were shown a presentation on it . So according me GESTALT is a visual presentation of something and this principle was coined by 3 pyschologists . This consists of 5 principles which are SIMILARITY,CLOSURE ,CONTINUATION,FIGURE GROUND ,PROXIMITY . After watching the presentation we were suppose to complete our posters .

Then we were introduced to the different TYPES OF BLENDS which were COLOUR BLEND , GRADIENT BLEND ,SHAPE ,NODE ,LINE,OPACITY,TEXT,CUSTOM PATH .Then sir explained us all the blend one by one . I learnt about the different blends and how to use it to make an object or a composition .I also learnt about the minor details which needs to be applied while using the blends . I learnt that the colour stroke should be kept none , the grey + opacity should be less than 100% which supposedly means the STEAM EFFECT.

  • THIS POSTER DEPICTS A CAT AND A RAT WHICH FALLS UNDER THE GESTALT PRINICPLE USING PEN TOOL AND THE GRADIENT TOOL. THIS POSTER DEPICTS THE FIGURE GROUND PRINCIPLE.
THIS POSTER DEPICTS A SNAKE THROUGH WHICH WE CAN SPOT THE SKULL POPPING THROUGH THE IMAGE ( the white portion ) . THIS DEPICTS THE FIGURE GROUND GESTALT PRINCIPLE AND THE CONTINUITY PRINCIPLE . HERE, I HAVE USED THE PEN TOOL AS WELL AS THE GRADIENT TOOL .
CHANGED POSTER WITH THE DIFFERENT COLOUR OPTIONS .

At last , we were told to complete all the three posters based on the gestalt principle based on a particular theme and we had choose 2D VECTOR character.
