In this week we were given an introduction on time – like what is TIME ? , we were also explained the meaning of time , how does time act in our day to day life etc . So , time is represented through various things such as :
- theater
- memes
- poems
- story telling
- Mahabharata
What is time ?
- its an notion
- motion
- it is never ending / infinite/ unstoppable act
- on going sequence of events
- it also points towards a very important factor which is money .
We were also told about the speed of time which is :
- it is changed on the basis of what you are doing .
- speed remains same , over perception changes .
- time also indicates vedic time movement
- solar and lunar calendar
TIME EXAMPLE : for instance if time changes which will result in the change in the apple . Then we discussed about the different seasons in India which are : spring season , summer season , monsoon , autumn , pre winter and winter . We also spoke about the different season in different languages , we also discussed about the markers that denote season which are :
- food habits
- crops
- animals / insects
- festivals
- seed germination ( passage time )
- construction of buildings
Then we were told to observe 15 things that INDICATE THE PASSAGE OF TIME that occur around us in day to day life , the things which I observed were :
- construction of building or bridges
- sunset and sunrise
- migration of birds in winters
- crop harvesting systems
- seed and pollen germination
- animals hibernating
- festivals changing denote the change in time
- change in the seasons
- leaves falling from the tree and leaves growing back basically denoting the autumn and spring season .
- preference in the change in food items
- memories
Then the last activity which we were told to do was to create different narrative stories which indicate the passage of time . So , we had to create thumbnails based on our story and out of the 3 stories one story was selected and further we had to click pictures based on our story .
Overall in this class I learnt how time plays an important role in our daily life , about passage of time also how to things change around us which indicate the passage of time , i also learnt how the 6 seasons play an important role in our lives and how they show the passing of time .
